When you’re in the mood to experience one of Miami’s artistic and cultural spots, step into the McCormick. This building houses some fabulous art displays along with hosting incredibly entertaining events. The McCormick Downtown Art Days serve up nights that broaden your senses with its multiple floors of art displays, along with live music, gourmet food trucks and an eclectic crowd!
After taking in the art and sounds of the opening doors, head up to explore all their floors and get exposed to different styles of art, along with conversing with the artists themselves which most are in-house next to their displays. Grab some wine inside and if you’re hungry take a break and stroll to their parking lot which has a gourmet truck along with a full bar next to it, plus live artists painting while you eat.
The building isn’t far from all the energy of Mary Brickell Village so it’s perfect to start the weekend because if you’re in the mood for a stimulating night without the big crowds from the restaurants and clubs, head to this spot, and you’re still very close to downtown’s hotspots. Check their website to inquire about all their events. www.McCormickPlace-Miami.com
Don’t get intimidated by this dark area of downtown, if you don’t find parking right in front of the gallery just drive around the block and there are plenty of meters. The good thing is that their events don’t end that early so no need to rush. Don’t forget to discover every floor of the building, so you won’t miss any display.
